Late at night.

Fujima's house.

Fujima was laying on his bed, but he's not asleep yet. He was watching at the ceiling in the dark.

Then slowly, he closed his eyes.

And nearly at the same time, then phone rang. Fujima threw his sight towards the phone, but didn't pick it up.

The phone's still ringing hard, sounds like it won't give up.

Fujima closed his eyes again and picked up the phone finally.

"Kenji?"

The one said.

But Fujima didn't answer.

"Kenji, I know it's you. Tell me what's up!! What's up? Why are you avoiding me?"

The one said worriedly.

And yet, still, Fujima didn't answer. He just listened to what he said quietly.

"Kenji?! ... I go straight to your department."

The one was worried. As he gonna hanged up the phone, Fujima spoke up.

"No. No need."

He said with a rather cold voice.

"Why? What's up with you? What's up?!"

"You should know that, Shinichi Maki. You should know what had happened."

Fujima said in a colder voice.

And without hearing Maki's answer, Fujima had hanged up the phone already.

Then he pulled out the phone line from the phone.

* I don't want to hear any excuse. *
